The mittens have a practical thumb piece. An adjustable Velcro strap and elastic at the wrist help keep the gloves in place. A zipper on the side makes them easy to put on and take off. The practical hooks can be attached to a small loop on a jacket, so that children do not lose them when they are playing or when they are hot. When the mittens are not in use, the hooks can be used to keep them together.
